About
Siân Wright is a fine artist who uses drawing, photography, installation, and performance in her work. Responsive to the contingencies of place, she seeks to uncover hidden narratives residing in human trace and the archive through forms such as sound, paper, cloth, and wax, where repetitive and laborious making are often used to prolong her occupation of a place. Her making serves as an act of remembrance which seeks to capture human presence and liberate them from past histories to combat notions of social amnesia, forgetting and misremembering.
She currently works as a Technician in Photography and Printmaking at the University of Lincoln.
