Old Truman Brewery

Set up was relatively easy compared to degree show. It's amazing how much of a difference it makes when the spaces are already clean and painted! Preview night went off without a hitch, although a few hiccups along the way. It definitely gave me a great insight into how the general public can act around art work. Pretty recklessly and impulsively to be honest.

But overall a good night! It's been an interesting experience to exhibit in London, and hopefully I will again. Emily Hart and Claire Sage have put an extraordinary effort in organising this group exhibition.

Aesthetica Art Prize

I decided to apply for the Aesthetica Art Prize a couple of weeks ago, I thought it would be a good opportunity. You never know!

Free Range: Art and Design Show

Preparation for the show at the Old Truman Brewery is well underway. Today at Loughborough, we packed the lorry to transport everyones work to London which took a good three hours. A group of us will be heading to London tomorrow to set up the show with the others, hopefully it's not too hectic. Not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not as we've still got to travel back from the preview night. Should be fun, a good chance to do some networking hopefully and a last get together with the people in my year.
