Yesterday, we waited an hour and half to be granted entry into the worlds most visited museum. Safe to say, it was chaos. The visit involved further queuing to see the Mona Lisa (which I viewed from afar) and basic things like food and water. Thankfully, I have a good zoom on my camera otherwise the Mona Lisa would have remained to have appearance of a stamp. I'm glad that we tackled the Mona Lisa as the rest of the experience was enjoyable and felt remarkably similar to an actual museum. It seems that most tourists fight their way to the Mona Lisa then forget about the rest of the exquisite collection. After all, there is plenty to see.
My favourite part, probably seeing a few of Da Vinci's other paintings and a few Rembrandts. Definitely a once in a life time experience because I definitely don't want to go through that hassle again!
