So it's been a while since I last posted, almost a month! Here's a bit of logo design in preparation for my NOTHS profile page. Struggling to make work at the moment with lack of facilities and space, but hopefully I can complete this sooner rather than later. More to come!
Musee d'Art Moderne
Finally, a gallery where you can chill out and actually take your time to look at some art! Next time, I'll try not go round the gallery backwards.
Louvre
Yesterday, we waited an hour and half to be granted entry into the worlds most visited museum. Safe to say, it was chaos. The visit involved further queuing to see the Mona Lisa (which I viewed from afar) and basic things like food and water. Thankfully, I have a good zoom on my camera otherwise the Mona Lisa would have remained to have appearance of a stamp. I'm glad that we tackled the Mona Lisa as the rest of the experience was enjoyable and felt remarkably similar to an actual museum. It seems that most tourists fight their way to the Mona Lisa then forget about the rest of the exquisite collection. After all, there is plenty to see.
My favourite part, probably seeing a few of Da Vinci's other paintings and a few Rembrandts. Definitely a once in a life time experience because I definitely don't want to go through that hassle again!
Fresh Meat Gallery Exhibition
Well it won't be long until I'll be exhibiting on a group show with The Fresh Meat Gallery. They were nice enough to make an artist profile of me on their website, so please check out the page here. Don't forget, if you're in the area please visit the LCB Depot as they are exhibiting various shows in the next few months.
Musee Rodin
Visited Musee Rodin today as we were passing. Although not knowledgeable on Rodin, I enjoyed the exhibition and surrounding gardens. Definitely a surprise to find how expansive the gardens were hidden away by stoned walls. I particularly liked the ice cream and sorbet at the cafe! Nom! For more info on the exhibition, see the Link!
